If you are burning wood, it really should be dry, 25% is the maximum moisture content for efficient wood burning. Burning dry wood is a must for any type of wood burning, log burning stove or open fire. It does not matter what kind of wood you burn: as long as it is well seasoned. Dry wood burns more efficiently and gives off more heat. Our Log Stores have been designed to encourage nature, to naturally dry and season freshly split logs and firewood as quickly as possible. Drying is dependent upon type of wood, diameter and length, split or not split, this process can take anywhere between six months and two years if you are seasoning your own wood. Having dry wood is a must for any type of wood burning. You must either buy pre-dried or seasoned wood and keep it dry, or season your own. Our Log Stores are specifically designed for both dry seasoned logs to keep them dry, and to season freshly cut timber.

The roofs are made from tongue and groove shiplap which allows the water to run off. Not inferior featherboard. All roofs are framed and braced for extra strength.
